Poetry Project

The End

As mentioned previously, this has little to do with Blarney Rebel. What this is, is an experiment. Two absolutely brilliant poet friends of mine have been collaborating on this experiment of their own called the Poetry Project, wherein they are each writing and posting a poem a day on Facebook. If you haven't gotten here via the facebook link, I strongly urge you to join the Facebook group "Poetry Project - Lew Kahler." You will be amazed at the quality of work Lew Kahler and Charley Straney are putting out on a daily basis. I know I was, so much, in fact, that I've taken to providing musical background to some of the poems. Since mp3's can't be posted on Facebook, however, the only way we can get them before you is to post them here and post a link on Facebook.  Obviously to get the full effect the poem should be read aloud (as it always should be anyway) with the music playing in the background. Keep in mind also that this is a total experiment. Some experiments fail. That's the nature of experimentation.  I had been posting the poems with the music but that was taking up way too much room, so I had to stop. Not sure what I was thinking; maybe I figured I'd do one or two and stop. Good luck with that. To view the poems, go to the facebook site.
